You are currently visiting our website and application at https://leadspanic.com. We take privacy seriously, and one point matters enough to state before anything else: **Leadspanic does not profile individual people.** Our analysis operates on U.S. Census tracts — neighborhood-level statistical areas typically containing 1,200 to 8,000 residents. When the product describes "who lives here," it is describing the aggregate statistical character of an area, not any identifiable person at an address. We do not buy, hold, or sell individual consumer profiles, and we cannot tell you anything about a specific household. ## What Personal Data We Collect **Data you give us directly.** * **Email address**, if you sign in. We use passwordless sign-in, so we never collect, store, or transmit a password for your account. * **Business profile information**, if you choose to save it: business name, category, address, and default search radius. * **Addresses and locations you search.** When you look up an address, that address is transmitted for geocoding (see "Who We Share Personal Data With") and used to identify the surrounding Census tract. Searched addresses are not stored against your account unless you explicitly save them as part of a business profile or campaign plan. * **Campaign inputs**, such as business name, budget, radius, and objective, when you build a campaign plan. * **Contact and application details** you submit through any form, including our applicant intake form. **Data we collect automatically.** * **Usage and product analytics** — pages and tabs viewed, features used, and whether key actions (such as completing a campaign plan) succeeded or failed. These events deliberately exclude your searched addresses, business names, and coordinates. * **Session recordings.** We record browsing sessions on our website to understand where people get stuck. **Form input values are masked and are not captured**, and we additionally mask on-screen elements that display street addresses and business names. Recordings capture navigation, clicks, and page layout. * **Device and connection data** — IP address, browser type, operating system, screen size, and referring page. * **Error and performance data** used to diagnose faults. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Leadspanic is a business tool intended for use by businesses and their operators, not by children, and is not directed to anyone under 18. ## Why We Collect Personal Data We collect data to: provide and operate the Leadspanic application; authenticate you and keep you signed in; generate the market analyses, reports, and campaign plans you request; diagnose faults and improve the product; measure which features are used and where people abandon a workflow; and communicate with you about your account, your engagement, or services you have asked about. We do not rent, sell, or trade email lists with other organizations. ## Who We Share Personal Data With We do not sell your personal data. If you prefer not to be included, most browsers allow you to block cookies and local storage, and standard "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control browser signals may limit some collection. Blocking storage may prevent sign-in from working. **Service-worker caching.** The application stores map tiles and application files locally on your device so it loads quickly and works offline. This data stays on your device. ### How to Control Cookies You can usually switch off or clear cookies and site data in your browser settings. ## How We Secure Your Data We use a range of technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including: encryption in transit (HTTPS across the site and all APIs); passwordless authentication, so no account password exists to be breached; row-level security on our database, restricting each account's saved data to that account; a Content Security Policy restricting what code can run in the application; and restricted, credentialed access to production systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. ## For How Long the Data Will Be Stored We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the services you have requested and for other essential purposes such as complying with legal obligations and enforcing our agreements. Actual retention periods vary by data type: * **Account and business profile data** — retained while your account is active, and deleted on request. * **Product analytics and session recordings** — retained per our analytics provider's configured retention period, and not used to build individual profiles. * **Records required for tax, accounting, or contractual purposes** — retained for the period required by law. ## Notice to Business Users Leadspanic is intended for use by organizations. Your use may be subject to your organization's policies. If you use an email address provided by an organization you are affiliated with, the owner of that domain may be able to access and process your data. **Data you bring into Leadspanic.** If you upload a customer list or similar file, you are responsible for having the right to use that data, and for complying with any law or contract governing it. We process it on your behalf solely to return the analysis you requested. ## Analysis Is Statistical, Not Individual Because it bears on privacy, we restate it here. Leadspanic's personas, scores, and recommendations are derived from aggregate U.S. Census and related public data at the tract level. They describe the statistical character of an area. **They are not predictions about, or profiles of, any identifiable individual, household, or address**, and they should not be used as if they were. Any messaging guidance the product produces is a hypothesis to be tested, not a statement of fact about a person. ## Children's Privacy Leadspanic is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it. ## Governing Law This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without reference to its choice-of-law provisions. ## How We Change this Privacy Policy We may update this policy.
